Well we made it through the first snowfall of the year, and I was pleased to see that it didn’t stick around for long, whoo hoo! The snow allowed me to catch up a little on the sample cards for upcoming classes, so we now have the pictures posted on the Website under “Class Samples” and you can see the techniques we’ll be focusing on. Even without pics though, the classes are filling so if something strikes your fancy, be sure to reserve your spot soon!

I’ve been working on each section of the store at a time, so other than Bazzil Cardstock (sigh) we’re pretty stocked up with product! I’ll be doing some orders shortly for the new stuff being shown at CHA this month too, so I’ll keep you posted on that!

Hi Everybody,
I hope you had an excellent Christmas? We had 5 days off here, and boy did I need it! We’re starting another new year next week, and I have to say that 
I’m always more than a little excited at this time of year, anxious to start a fresh with new idea’s, a clean slate, and an abundance of energy. January does that to me, and I hope you’re all going to join me for the ride? We have had to make a few changes around here to our schedule and our classes but I assure you that we have thought long and hard about what is best for Cherish and for my Back (tee hee) and although some changes may be disappointing, I will always make sure we keep the fun, the neat product tips, and of course the multitude of stories! So, without further ado, let’s fill you in on what’s about to be our best year yet…

I have just invented an easier way to clean glitter off your workspace! 
After a lengthy Glitter class last month, I don’t need to tell you how much glitter didn’t make it back into the appropriate jars! Can you believe it’s December 1st!? I surely can, as I’ve been counting the days since August!! Christmas music is no longer illegal, decorations spring 
from their dark places in the basement, Lights decorate the houses on the way home, Oh how I LOVE December 1st! I’m going home to watch as many Christmas movies as I can before I fall asleep on the Couch! (I guess that means Andrew’s dragging the 400 boxes out of the basement!) You think I’m kidding but my family will tell you that every time they have helped me move, there have been more boxes marked “Christmas” than any other category!
Oh how I adore this season, and this year will be even more special as Ella
really “gets” what’s going on. She’s already told me that she’s only going to tell Santa what she wants for Christmas, that it’s a secret just between them (Uh Oh, I hope it hasn’t changed from the Mermaid Barbie she’s been asking for since July, ’cause Santa’s already got that ready!)
Anyway, Happy December! Try not to get too caught up in the stress, and if you need a place to rest and have a hot cuppa tea, we’re here!

Cherished Chums Christmas Cards are Ready!
I’d like to say that for the first time in our history, I am completely ready to give them out! But I can’t, sigh. I have most of them almost finished, and they will be here for Friday, but I do have a couple for the first few Chums that come in tomorrow.

Canadian Scrapbooker 5th Anniversary Edition celebrates Cherish the Thought
How can I possibly have forgotten to tell you all that the New Canadian Scrapbooker arrived last week WITH OUR ARTICLE in it, Whoo Hoo! There we are on page 136, and they couldn’t have done a better job of capturing what we’re trying to do around here! Mylene, who wrote the article, is planning a trip to BC next Spring and she promises to stop by the store. We can’t wait to give her a great big hug for the beautiful thoughts she put into words for us. So if you don’t have a copy yet, we still have a couple left.
